We are proud to announce that the photo-book is now ready for release: as the final chapter of our live project “Echoes From The Borderline”, this large-format, 200-page book contains over 150 analog photographs and drawings made by Stephan “Zim” Moriarty during the band’s ten-year tour across the world, to tell the story behind these 800 concerts, half-a-million kilometers and 25 countries travelled in music… a visual and sonic voyage, told from the musicians’ intimate point-of-view, through which you can see the grain of the negative film echoing the grain of the charcoal drawings, blending with the organic tape-sounds of the bootlegs and the texture of the asphalt roaring beneath the wheels of the tour-bus… then, to bring the images and the songs together, the book also features two CDs inserted in the last page, with the 26 tracks of the live album.
Published by our independent record label Air Rytmo – with the precious support of some 866 fans on the crowdfunding website Ulule – the book has been manufactured with the highest quality possible, at a printing workshop in Verona, Italy, famous for the bespoke, tactile, high-contrast standards of their photo and art reproduction. It is an object made for the eye, but also for the touch, the smell, and the ear…
As of November 2018, it will be available in bookshops, record stores & in our shop (moriartyland.net/mall), as a single book, or as a “live-set” bundle, containing both the book and the triple-vinyl LP “Echoes From The Borderline”: music and images as two sides of the same story.

Nous sommes fiers de vous annoncer que le livre-photo est sur le point d’être publié : ultime chapitre de notre projet d’album live “Echoes From The Borderline”, ce livre grand-format de 200 pages contient plus de 150 photographies et dessins réalisés par Stephan “Zim” Moriarty pendant les 10 ans de tournée continue du groupe autour du monde, afin de raconter l’histoire de ces 800 concerts, de ce demi-million de kilomètres et 25 nations traversées en musique… un voyage visuel et sonore, vu à travers l’œil des musiciens, où l’on peut sentir le grain des négatifs faire écho au grain du fusain sur le papier, et se fondre avec le son organique des bootlegs sur bande magnétique et la texture de l’asphalte rugissant sous les roues du tour-bus… afin d’unir le son et l’image, le livre contient aussi 2 CDs insérés en dernière page, avec les 26 titres de l’album live.
Publié par notre label indépendant Air Rytmo – avec le soutien précieux des quelques 866 fans qui ont l’ont co-produit via le site Ulule – le livre a été manufacturé avec la qualité la plus aigüe, dans une imprimerie à Vérone en Italie, renommée pour le travail artisanal sur mesure, tactile et contrasté, de leurs reproductions d’art et de photographie. C’est un objet conçu pour l’œil, mais aussi pour le toucher, l’odorat et l’ouïe…
À partir de Novembre 2018, il sera disponible chez les libraires, les disquaires, ainsi que dans notre boutique en ligne (moriartyland.net/mall), en version livre simple, ou au sein d’un « coffret live », accompagné du triple-vinyle 33T “Echoes From The Borderline“ : musique et images, comme les deux faces d’une même histoire.
